Lack of updates is because I was busy the last two weekends sorting out the new car purchase. I’ve been buying a car for about as long as I have been working for my company. There are a lot of factors that came into play. On one hand, I really do not need a car because most of the time I get a rental car from work. However, when I’m between projects or weekends, there are times when a rental is not available to me which results in me being stuck at home. So now I don’t have to worry about that. And, since i’m currently living rent free, that can go towards paying off the car. My target pay-off date is October 2007, but I suspect I will not prepay every month I plan to (although I will still make full payments to prevent myself from defaulting on the loan).
